During the three-year educational journey in Product and Communication Design and the two-year specialist course in Multimedia Design, students will engage in internships or training placements at public and private entities to complement and enrich their educational activities with professional experiences.

To participate, interested students must apply to the Institute's Director by completing a specific form provided by the Academic Secretariat, available in the "Student Forms" section of the website. Each request will be evaluated by the Director based on the entity's characteristics and the activities the student intends to undertake.

Upon approval, the Administration will establish a convention between the two entities, following the guidelines outlined in Article 4, paragraph 1 of Ministerial Decree No. 142, dated March 25, 1998.

At the conclusion of the internship period, which must total a minimum of 108 hours for the three-year program and 144 hours for the specialist two-year program, the hosting organization must submit a report on the student's activities to the Academic Secretariat. If positively assessed by the Director and aligned with the original specifications, the allocation of academic credits will be communicated through the Academic Secretariat.

Internships or training placements initiated without prior authorization will not be recognized by the Institute and will not be covered by insurance.
