ERASMUS+
The ISIA of Pescara has opened its doors to Europe and is ready to go with Erasmus+! Internationalisation helps to address the socio-economic changes and challenges ahead and support the implementation of the European policy agenda for growth, jobs, equity and social inclusion. Young people living in Europe become more competitive through talent and innovation, especially in design. Education, training and socio-educational activities are key components to promote common European values, foster social integration, promote intercultural understanding, and a sense of belonging to a community that is Europe. The ISIA of Pescara wants to project its students in a dynamic context where design's role in contemporary culture becomes increasingly central and promotes bilateral agreements with leading universities in this field.
The ISIA of Pescara takes part in the Erasmus+ project through the key action KA103. It promotes mobility projects for students for learning purposes (SMS) and for Traineeship purposes (SMT). This investment in knowledge, skills and competences generates a virtuous circle for students, institutions, organisations and the society as a whole, increasing growth and ensuring equity, prosperity and social inclusion in Europe.
The aim is to make an important contribution to finding solutions in difficult and challenging contexts and to the autonomous development of learning and analytical skills. Students will have the opportunity to interact with European universities that identify design skills as a primary factor in their career progression and will be able to broaden their cultural background, which will be useful in the increasingly dynamic and demanding world of work.
The establishment of staff mobility aims to improve skills, implement the exchange of knowledge and good work practice and to develop and strengthen their networks, increasing their ability to operate at a trans-national level and deal with ideas and methods in different sectors.

The ISIA of Pescara has obtained the Erasmus Charter for higher education 2021-2027 (ECHE). This provides opportunities for mobility in studies and promotes innovation and exchange of good practice under Erasmus+.
The Erasmus+ Program allows students from higher education institutions holding an ECHE to spend a period of study in a foreign university and provides them with the skills required by the labour market and the economy, enabling them to play an active role in society and achieve personal fulfilment.
